Short trip to find Windy Slopes Trip winner

Donna Schauerte didn’t have to phone the latest Vacation a Month Raffle winner- the winner was in the building. Naomi Schweb is a Medical Assistant at Associate Medical Clinic, a part of the Pincher Creek Health Centre where the draw was made this morning (January 2). Naomi and her husband will enjoy a two night stay at Radium, a prize package that includes a special dinner and passes to the Hot Springs.

“It’s nice when the winners are local, but very cool when we can walk over and congratulate them right away,” said Schauerte, Chair of Windy Slopes Health Foundation which operates the raffle. Pam Ostick of Calgary won the $100 cash draw for January.

Baseball fans will be hoping to win the February draw for a trip to Toronto and a pair of tickets to see the Blue Jays in action. “The Jays have been in the news lately with all the trades they’ve made, so it’s a timely draw,” Schauerte said. “Somebody’s really going to enjoy that prize.”
