Pincher Creek's Atom 1 Chinooks played back-to-back games against the Foremost Flyers last weekend.  The first game was on Saturday, January 5 here at home.  The Flyers won that one 7-2.  On Sunday the Chinooks travelled to Foremost, with the Flyers winning that game 11-3.

Both Chinooks goals during the Saturday game were scored by Rylan Bruns with Sam Jordan assisting.  Bruns' slapshot is definitely coming along nicely. Alex Comeau put in a big effort during this game.  Flyers' goals in that game were all unassisted, with Quade Hughson scoring 4 times and Spencer Mehlen also getting a hat trick.  The absence of Trinity Tanner on the Chinooks' bench was surely felt.  Foremost goalie Aiden Huisman was a game changer. The two teams seemed to be fairly evenly matched for much of the first period, and the Chinooks did really well in the second period.  The Flyers dominated the third period, which accounted for 4 of their 7 goals.
