North Pole Coach visits the Pincher Creek arena

Famed Northern Reindeers Coach S. Claus paid a visit to Pincher Creek's Memorial Community Centre arena on Thursday, December 6. Mr. Claus, "Santa" to his fans, handed out goodie bags to the Initiation and Novice Chinooks in attendance, and asked each one what they'd like for Christmas. Perhaps the most interesting request, which came up twice: "A GPS".

As members of the separate North Pole Hockey League(NPHL) at least they are not in a current lockout like the NHL are and will be ready and raring to go on Christmas Eve to play the fastest game of their life. It is good that they have built in GPS and with Captain Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer guiding the team and Santa's sleigh that eve a win for everyone is definitely in the bag that coach S.Claus has been seen carrying around this time of year.
