Senior Girls: Halton Hawks defeat Coalhurst Trojans

Sr. Girls: Hawks vs Trojans
Halton's Senior Girls Hawks had a slight edge over their Coalhurst Trojans counterparts, which they established early and maintained throughout the game, ultimately winning it 62-48.

Hawks #9 Dakota Van Loon had a great game, scoring a total of 27 points. #8 Alyssa Barbero scored 16 points.  #10 Megan Albert was a formidable opponent, blocking very effectively.  #15 Letitia Plain Eagle seems to be coming into her own, really digging in out there.  The team as a whole played very well.  Katherine Anderson Bain of the Trojans was the top scorer for her team with 12 points. Miriam Entz was right behind her with 11 points.

Senior Girls: St. Michael's Dragons defeat Vulcan Hawks

Sr. Girls: Dragons vs Vulcan Hawks
St. Michael's Senior Girls Dragons defeated the Vulcan Hawks in a rather one sided affair by the score of 60-16. The Dragons' lineup is already looking like one that will be long remembered as a classic.  They are a very close-knit team, working towards a united goal, and it's really working for them.

Dragons' #5 Elise Wocknitz was the top scorer of the game with 13 points and #14 Josie Naumczyk, closely followed by #12 "Getting the long shots" Kelli Potts with 9 points and #13 "Tireless" Tamara Parkin with 8 points, and #11 Catherine DeCock with 7 points.  The Dragons' defence is proving to be quite strong as well.

Senior Boys: St. Michael's Dragons defeat Vulcan Hawks

Sr. Boys: Dragons vs Vulcan Hawks
The Senior Boys Dragons are another team that seems to have worked out most of the bugs, a really solid squad.  They defeated the Vulcan Hawks 77-35 in what was, obviously, another rather one-sided game.  Dragons #10 Gabriel Rainford scored seemingly at will, for a total of 21 points.  #13 Nathan Bruder scored 15 points. #8 Jared Pittman  scored 13 points and  #5 Cory Geddes scored 12 points.

Expect big things from the Dragons Senior Boys this season.

Senior Boys: Coalhurst Trojans defeat Halton Hawks

Sr. Boys: Hawks vs Trojans
Halton's Senior Hawks continue to struggle this season, losing 96-43 against the Trojans this time out.  However, scores aside, their teamwork and sportsmanship has improved markedly, an opinion shared by their coach and regular fans, and that says good things for the team's future.  The Trojans had great communication, made the most of every opportunity, and kept up the coverage throughout the game.

Various injuries for the Hawks played a factor in this game.  By the end of it they had only 6 effective players compared to 9 for the Trojans.

Top scorer for the Hawks was #7 Dawson Jarvis with 15 points, followed by #14 Graham Milligan with 13 points and #9 Austin Sinclair with 9 points.  Trojans #9 Luc Adams scored 19 points, #11 Branddyn Dupuis scored 18 points, and #10 Stefan Hughes scored 14 points.
