Exchange student Iris Wang gave an interesting presentation to the Pincher Creek Rotary Club on Thursday afternoon, November 15.

Iris is from Taiwan, and is staying with the Holoboff family as an exchange student.  Katrina Holoboff is in Brazil as part of the same exchange program, and the girl from Brazil is at Iris' house. Iris will also be staying with other families during her time here.  She attends grade 12 at St. Michael's School.

Iris gave the Rotarians an extensive insight into her homeland, Taiwan, and also talked about herself and family. She covered many interesting topics, including special festivals celebrated each year, Taiwanese food and evening markets, and the indigenous people and the geography of the island.

If you see Iris around town, be sure to say "Hi".
