Pincher Creek Senior Mustangs' Lineman of the Year Alex Oliver is also known off the field for his culinary talents. He was one of the recipients of the Senior High Food Award at the Matthew Halton School 2011-2012 Academic Achievement Awards for his contributions to the Matthew Halton Team Cuisine, baking an apple pie, a decorated sponge cake, muffins and cookies in four hours at last season's Southern Alberta Regional Skills Competition. Alex is also a top scoring bowler.
