Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Friday, October 19, 2012 for Crowsnest Pass, Pincher Creek, and Waterton Lakes National Park area.
Wind southwest 80 gusting 100 km/h this morning.
Strong southwesterly winds are strengthening this morning as a low pressure system develops in Northwestern Alberta. Southwest winds gusting to 100 km/h are expected in the Cardston and Crowsnest Pass regions along the foothills. Winds will diminish this afternoon, however gusts to 70 km/h are still likely.
