Missing High Prairie male found

Update, October 21, 2012:  The High Prairie RCMP would like to thank the public, as Gage Joachim has been located. The appropriate agencies have been notified, and he is now with family.

High Prairie RCMP are requesting the public's help in locating Gage Joachim, born November 7, 1995. Gage is described as 168 cm (5'6") 86 kg (190 lbs) with black hair and brown eyes with Inuit facial features.

Gage was wearing a Black track jacket with Navy stripe and white piping, Black skinny jeans, and Nike shoes with purple laces.  He walked away from a group home in High Prairie where he had been residing over night.  He was last seen in Grande Prairie and was believed to be hitchhiking to Grand Cache to see family.

Gage has been a resident in the High Prairie, Peace River and Grande Cache areas. Police are requesting the public pay special attention to hitchhikers in these areas.

Gage does suffer from FASD and is not dressed appropriately for the weather as such Police are concerned for his safety.
