On Saturday August 18th a cheerful parade of more than 100 entries walked down crowded Main Street. Lots of horses, bands, dressed up children, splendid cars and amazing floats turned the parade into a great show. We were honored to have Premier Redford in our parade and our very own ‘coolest cop ever’ made the 60th Anniversary of the Pincher Creek Parade even more fun.

  1. Thanks to all the participants from the horses to the bulls, to the cowgirls and boys that made this Diamond Rodeo a success along with the best parade in Pincher Creek history. 2012 marks a small segment in the annals of history. Everyone present to enjoy the festivities whether as part of the crowd or participants will go down in history as a proud part of the Diamond history making events held in Pincher Creek and Southern Alberta on the weekend of August 17th to Aug 19th 2012. Even the 8th annual minichuckwagon races are an integral part of this history as well.
