SW Alberta Parks Update, August 28, 2012

All Southwest Alberta Provincial Parks and Provincial Recreation Areas are open.  Fall and winter season first come, first serve will be available in Southwest Provincial Park Campgrounds, as of September 4.

Camping Information:

Beauvais Lake Provincial Park Campground: will be completely first-come first-serve camping for the fall and winter season beginning on September 4, 2012.  The last day for firewood sales will be Sunday, September 2.

Chain Lakes Provincial Park Campground: Camping is available all winter.

Oldman River Dam Provincial Recreation Area, Cottonwood Campground, Castle View RV Park, and Windy Point: will be closed for camping September 30, 2012 (day-use areas are open all year).  The last day for firewood sales will be Sunday, September 2.
