The Peewee Mustangs football team, ages 9-12, were practicing at Sproule Field on August 21.  Coach Dr. Travis Liscombe expressed his excitement for the upcoming season.  “We are pumped up about this season. We’re coming off one of the most successful Mustang seasons ever, last year, and we’re excited to get going again.” He praised the team’s enthusiasm and effort. “They are an excellent group of kids. Everybody here is excited and thrilled to be here.”

“We’re just getting going here," Liscombe added.  We’re working on fundamentals right now, and eventually we’re working into plays, and that type of thing.” Right now the team has 9 players, and they are looking for at least 6 more kids to join the team. Those who are interested can contact Pincher Creek Football Boosters Association President Faith Zachar at 403-627-7751, or coach Liscombe at 403-627-2244 or 403-627-8768.

The Senior Mustangs will begin their season on August 31 with an away game against High River.
