Local youth leads Zone 1 Rugby team in Alberta Summer Games

Local athlete Lane Crawford was Captain for the Zone 1 Rugby team competing in the Alberta Summer Games held recently in Lethbridge. The Zone 1 team played well in the round robin tournament, winning 5 of their 7 games, ultimately taking Bronze. Crawford was the only team member from Pincher Creek. Most of his teammates were from Lethbridge. The Zone 3 team from Calgary took Gold and the the Zone 6 team from Edmonton took Silver.
