Members of Art Works For Wild Spaces (AWFWS) assembled a short term art project in the Castle logging area on July 11 from approximately 1:30 pm until 4 pm. The project was designed to be visible from the air in anticipation of a flyover of the area by Alberta Minister of Environment and Sustainable Resource Development Diana McQueen. The project was planned by Sarah Elmeligi and AWFWS's Barbara Amos.
According to AWFWS, the display attracted a lot of attention from campers, ATVers and others in the area.
