At 7:00 pm on Thursday June 7 2012 Pincher Creek’s U10 Soccer League played some non-competitive games against each other at the St. Michael's track field. Facing off on one side was the Killer Mustangs and their opponents the Warriors.

The game started out good for the Killer Mustangs with a nice kick-off, but the Warriors quickly recovered and started moving up. Number 20 was able to score the first goal for the Warriors. The goalie from the Killer Mustangs picked up his game after this and made some pretty nice saves.  The Warriors were shaking the Killer Mustangs pretty badly until they broke through the Warriors strong defenses and almost scored.

Just before the break number 20 scored another goal for the Warriors, making it 2-0. Break time was cleverly used to go over a new tactic on both teams. After break time the teams got switched from side and the game continued.

In the second half of the game the Warriors again dominated the field and got some pretty good shots at the net. Eventually one of the Warriors was able to make another goal to make the game 3-0. The game ended soon after.

On the other side of the field was the game between blue-clad Hypothermia and the Screaming Ninjas. Early in the game both teams were very evenly matched with both teams aggressively keeping each other from the net. Hypothermia broke this pattern shortly before the break, scoring their first goal.

In the second half the Screaming Ninjas picked up the pace, keeping Hypothermia as far from the net as possible and taking several good shots at their net. However, Hypothermia managed to squeeze in another goal in the last quarter. Shortly before the final whistle the Screaming Ninjas managed to score their single goal, with the game ending 2-1 in Hypothermia’s favour.
