Crowfoot Ferry near Bassano closes until further notice

Travellers' Advisory

Motorists are advised that the Crowfoot Ferry near Bassano is closed until further notice due to high water levels in the Bow River.

The ferry carries Range Road 201 over the Bow River five kilometres south of the Highways 1 and 56 junction. Motorists are advised to use Highway 842 to cross the river in this area.
Further advisories will be issued should conditions change.
