Where does our bread come from and on which side is it buttered?

Is there a correct side to butter bread and how would that be determined?
Is there a left side or a right side of bread?
Depending on how the bread is held, maybe there are only sides to consider.
Could the bread be buttered on both sides?

Is our Economy too hot, too cold or just right?
Are our wages too high, too low, or just right?
Is our dollar value too high, too low or just right?
Are our farmers overpaid, underpaid, or paid just right?

The answers to these questions could be as easy as 1, 2, 3, or as varied as each individual reading this.
There are many resources that fuel Canada’s economy, its people being the most important and renewable natural resource.


Is our bread buttered by agriculture, manufacturing, or our most important natural resources?
Taxes are also a form of resource, are they natural or artificial?
Are taxes a benefit or a hindrance to moving forward, in the growth of a countries economy, and development of it most natural resources?
Could the current high taxes that Canadians face every day of their lives, be what is hampering our economic growth and development?
From fuel taxes to entertainment taxes, from sales tax, to goods and services tax, from property tax to income tax, from hidden taxes to obvious taxes, our world keeps spinning round and round.
Are we starting to get dizzy from the effects of high taxation and have lost our perspective on how our bread is buttered, and on which side?

Is there a false sense of security and contentment, that all is well, and we not know our left from our right, or what is up and what is down, in our faster spinning world?

It is easy to blame and point fingers at one resource as the cause of disparity across our great country.
Could that finger pointing be a possible distraction, as to the true cause of why companies are closing up shop, and leaving for parts of the world that are more favorable to growth and prosperity?
Companies depend on profit to stay in business and provide a stable environment, in order for their most natural resource, to prosper and flourish as well.

Happy prosperous natural resources make for happy prosperous companies.

Continually raising taxes is not always the answer, especially when the bottom line and profit of those companies are being affected in such a manner, that they are left with no other choice but to close up shop, and leave for greener pastures.

What will the future look like for our generation and generations to come?

Do we need to take a serous look at how our bread is currently buttered, by providing innovative ways of allowing companies to flourish and prosper, along with our most natural resources, the people?
In the future, will we have no more bread and butter, or no more toast and jam, if we are not able to decide which side our bread is currently buttered on, and how it is currently being buttered?
