Mustangs of all ages attended Stamps Camp this weekend.  On Friday they were at the Matthew Halton School field, under blue skies in "perfect football weather", according to Senior Mustangs Head Coach Peter Brannen.

Inclement weather forced the activiities inside to the MCC Arena on Saturday.   Calgary Stampeders Prince Baffoh, John Bender, Anthony Parker, and Eric Fraser ran the boys through various football drills and stratagems, and after a week of Spring Camp the Mustangs seemed to be up to the challenge.

"We've got some new kids," said Coach Brannen. "Some that haven't played football before, and we have some really good quality Bantam kids coming up (to the Senior/Midget team), as our competition does."

"From last year we've lost six Grade 12's, but we've got some boys returning that will help us out, and there's a lot of enthusiasm," he continued.  "We definitely have some kids that are struggling with some challenges in life, so we have some projects on this team.  We're working with them. We'll have some returning kids in the fall that have been away for a while."
