Turner Valley RCMP request help from Eden Valley Residents


RCMP seeks Help from the Residents of Eden Valley First Nation

RCMP Turner Valley, Alberta are looking for assistance from the residents of Eden Valley First Nation in regards to a suspicious fire that occurred on the First Nation on Tuesday 03 April 2012. RCMP Turner Valley members were patrolling the Reserve at 2:40 AM on that date when house # 67 was noted to be in flames. The Longview Fire department was summoned to the scene however the home was a total loss. Fortunately, there were no injuries. While the official cause has yet to be determined, the fire is very suspicious in nature and preliminary investigation points strongly to arson as a possible cause.

Any individual that has information on this fire is asked to contact the RCMP on the Eden Valley First Nation or in Turner Valley at 403-933-7227. Crime Stoppers can be reached at 1-800-222-8477. This is the eighth suspicious house fire on the reserve since 2009.
