| Huskies vs Picture Butte |
The game was essentially a rehash of the one played here on February 17, when the Huskies blanked Picture Butte by a large margin. The differences: this was a playoff game, Picture Butte managed to sneak in one goal this time, and tempers were not as subdued on the losing side this time out. The clock was allowed to run for most of the third period.

According to Spud League playoff rules, if the Huskies won this game by a ten points or more margin they would be able to forego another game against Picture Butte the following day (Sunday).
The Huskies won this one by a score of 15-1.
Tempers were flaring on the Picture Butte bench, fueled by a couple of Picture Butte fans in the stands, and their obvious discontent included a refusal to shake hands after the game.
Bottom line here, the Huskies play this game on a whole different level than Picture Butte does. Losing repeatedly by margins like this should cause a team to look inward, not outward. Kudos to the Huskies for keeping it classy, and congratulations on another playoff win.
Huskies Captain #16 Brett Tarcon scored 4 goals and got 2assists in the game. #9 Blair Goodreau scored 3 goals and got 1 assist. #23 Ryan Marshall got 2 goals and 2 assists. #22 Charles Mitchell got 4 assists.
They refused to shake hands? Really? Wow.
