Female Hides in Dryer (Turner Valley)
On Friday 16 March 2012 at 7:00 PM RCMP in Turner Valley, Alberta were called to a domestic disturbance at a local residence. A husband and wife were engaged in an argument and RCMP members responded quickly as they were aware that the husband had recently been charged for Assault Causing Bodily Harm and his wife was the Victim of the assault. When the accused was released from Custody on that charge, he was placed on conditions not to have contact with his wife.
Upon arrival RCMP located the husband RCMP members were concerned when a search of the home did not reveal the location of his wife until one member checked the basement. The female was found hiding inside a dryer in an apparent attempt to prevent the arrest of the her spouse.
The husband, a twenty eight year old Eden Valley Alberta resident, has been charged with failing to Comply with an Undertaking under the Criminal Code.
