The Pincher Creek Minor Baseball held their Annual General Meeting on Tuesday evening, March 21 after a registration session. For those that missed it, there will be another registration evening this coming Thursday, Thursday, March 2 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Pincher Creek Pool lobby.

"I'm looking forward to a great season," said Recreation Manager Mitch Ball. "It will start at the end of April or the beginning of May."  The season runs to the end of June, culminating in a year-end tournament on June 23 and 24.

There will be an umpire clinic on April 14 and 15, and a skills competition/barbeque/bottle drive fundraiser on Saturday, May 26 at Juan Teran Park.

Organizers are hoping to get enough players to field an All-star team, with an eye on the Junior National Little League Championships, which will be held in Lethbridge. Victors in that championship would then go on to play in Taylor, Michigan in the Junior League World Series.
The Pincher Creek Dust Devils have a new logo this year, and Dust Devil gear will be for sale.

"It's going to be a wonderful season, and the good Lord willing...," said Bryan Mackenzie as kids lined up to fill in their registration forms.

Hopefully it's a much drier season this year than it was last.
