RCMP news release
Edmonton, AB - At approximately 2 p.m. today, two members from the Killam RCMP Detachment were shot and wounded while attending a rural residence.
The wounded officers have been taken to hospital for treatment.
The RCMP Emergency Response Team and RCMP Air Services have been dispatched to secure the scene. A search is underway to locate an armed suspect.
No further information will be released at this time.
