Bruce Buckingham
Bruce Buckingham, General Manager of the Pincher Creek Co-op and President of the Pincher Creek Chamber of Commerce, is stepping down from those roles to accept a new challenge.

Buckingham has been with the Co-op organization for 26 years, and moved to Pincher Creek to be the General Manager four and a half years ago.  His last day with Pincher Creek Co-op is Friday, February 17.  He will be starting a new position in the South Country Co-op in Vauxhall, Alberta on February 21.  This is a promotion for Bruce.  He will be taking on more responsibilities.  The Vauxhall-area market is over three times the financial share of his present position.

"It has been a wonderful time being at Pincher Creek," Buckingham said.  The scenery and the recreational opportunities are nothing less than amazing.  Most of all it will be the experiences with the people that I will miss."

Of the Chamber of Commerce position he must now vacate he said "I look forward to the accomplishments the Chamber will achieve. They have many events and marketing initiatives planned, like a trade show, wind festival, more shop smart events, community calendar, monthly mix and mingles, and event for youth with local business. There many other too numerous to mention. I will miss everyone on the Chamber board, a truly dedicated and community-caring group of people. Please give them your support."
