During this time of giving when some of us have more than enough....it would be nice to promote an organization called KIVA. You can contribute (loan) as little as $25, and it keeps giving and giving and giving. You go on line and choose someone you would like to lend $25 to. People in need have made application for a loan for various purposes. You choose someone you would like to support. When the loan is paid back you will be notified and you go on line and lend the money again, or not if you want it back. I think the payback record is very high. My daughter has used KIVA for a number of years. She sends my grandkids each $25 of KIVA money for Christmas and they just keep lending it out. Works great. Check them out at www.KIVA.org.
