Pee Wee Chinooks redeem themselves in seed game against Magrath

After last night's disappointing rout against the Crowsnest Thunder, Pincher Creek's Pee Wee Chinooks could probably do with a big win, which they got this afternoon, October 29, against Magrath.  The two teams met at Pincher Creek's Memorial Community Centre arena.  In their second game of a three-game weekend, the Chinooks beat Magrath by a convincing score of 24-15.  Tomorrow, Sunday, October 30 they travel to Magrath to play against Lethbridge.

After the game Chinooks coach Randy Wittkopf  said "These are seeding games, which tell us where we play in the Spud league."  After the seed round is over the league schedule for the coming season will be decided.

"They're just getting their feet wet," Wittkopf said of his team. "The kids are skating well, and they can't wait until the league games start."
