Festival of Roses a big hit

The Lebel Mansion in Pincher Creek was the site of the "Festival of Roses" on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1.  This free Alberta Arts Days event was hosted by the Oldman Rose Society.  Various events and displays punctuated the weekend, including an exhibition of rose-related art and photography, tours of the exhibitions and the Oldman Rose Garden outside, craft and arrangement demonstrations, special guest speakers, a rose themed tea set collection entitled "My Cup of Tea" by ceramic artist Elaine Zimmer, and much more.
