Sparwood toddler Kienan Hebert has now been missing for three days.

Paul Hebert, father of missing 3 year old Kienan Hebert, spoke at a press conference earlier today, making a direct plea to the kidnapper. “We’re speaking to whoever has Kienan right now. We’re just asking, please bring Kienan to a safe place right now, like a gas station or a store parking lot,” Hebert said. “Walk away. We just want him safe. “As you know and we know, Kienan can’t speak.  He can’t tell us who you are. This is your chance, right now, to get away.”  Mother Tammy Hebert was at his side, obviously overwhelmed.

B.C. RCMP Cpl. Dan Moskaluk confirmed the boy was abducted, eliminating the faint hope he had just wandered away in the night.  He also said an earlier abduction attempt was made on another child early Wednesday morning, just before Kienan disappeared.

Randall Hopley

Various leads have come up blank since Kienan disappeared.  The primary suspect in his disappearance is Randall Hopley, currently out on bail, convicted of multiple break and enter offences, sexual assault, and suspected in others, including crimes against children.

Cpl. Moskaluk has asked anybody who owns cabins in the area, which includes the Crowsnest Pass area where Randall Hopley was caught squatting at a cabin last year,  to check on their properties.

The public is asked to call 911 if they spot Kienan, a red-headed boy with brown eyes.

Hopley should not be approached by the public.

Randall Hopley’s car is a 1987 brown Toyota Camry. Its B.C. licence plate reads 098 RAL.

Please note: It has been indicated to us from several sources that this is the same model and year as Hopley's car, not his actual car, so its condition may vary from this photograph.

Please keep this in mind: the safety and recovery of Kienan is far more important at this point than revenge or vigilante action.

This is about Randall Hopley's car. The car that is being used in all the media is from Australia: here is a link to the original image. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:1987-1989_Toyota_Camry_(SV21)_CS_sedan_(2011-04-02).jpg
There's no indication that this car is NOT Hopley's car from media across BC, in fact in several Amber Alerts they call this his car.
I can say without a doubt that the car in the picture is only SIMILAR to Hopley's car, is is NOT the same car.
And because it has been represented as Hopley's car, we do not know how similar it is in both condition and colour to the actual vehicle. I would believe that Hopley's car is not as immaculate as this car is.
I have been contacting the media and the RCMP since Friday and have only heard back from the CBC but the caption under their picture has not changed.
