The Alberta Riparian Habitat Management Society (known as Cows and Fish) was announced today as one of 11 recipients of an Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development Watershed and Restoration Program grant. $388,250 has been allocated to Cows and Fish to work with landowners in the Oldman River Basin Headwaters to identify and restore riparian areas. Approximately 10 to 15 riparian enhancement projects are expect to enhance 8 to 12 km of riparian areas.
