- Livingstone B Girls to participate in Halton tournament this weekend
- Livingstone B Girls Tournament Saturday January 31

Livingstone's Junior B Girls Sabres basketball team hosted Kanai's TMS1 Eagles yesterday evening in Lundbreck. With a younger team and a smaller bench, the Sabres were hard pressed by the Eagles from the outset. The Eagles won the game by a significant margin, but not before the sizeable crowd was treated to an entertaining game. Score aside, there was lots of back and forth and many dramatic plays. The Eagles relentlessly worked the rebounds, were quick to capture the ball, and several of their players demonstrated excellent marksmanship at the hoop.
Top scorer for the Sabres was Nicole Keeler with 5 points. Keeler really fought for the ball in every quarter as well, relentlessly. Sabre Addy Halibert had a good second quarter. Sabre Alina Pharis only made one basket, but it was a doozie. Three Eagles scored ten points each in the game - Journey E. Plume, August E. Plume, and Mia Eagle Speaker. They pass well as a team, playing smart and fast basketball.
