Four grade 6 Canyon School students who went to WE Day in Calgary were inspired to host a Baked Goods Sale in Pincher Creek's Ranchland Mall on Monday November 25 to assist those affected by the High River flooding through the Alberta Red Ross Flood Foundation.

Students Easton Fitzpatrick, Bill Teran, Aubrey Old Crow, and Hailey McLeod ran a booth covered with cookies, tarts, cupcakes, squares, and popcorn that the students and their families helped to prepare.  Bill Teran said that the group had made over $70.  All four students said they felt good about what they have done for the benefit of others.
