Village of Cowley election results

Chris Davis, Pincher Creek Voice

The results from yesterday's election for Village of Cowley Council are as follows:

  • Garry Hackler, elected with 68 votes
  • Linda Findlater, elected with 59 votes
  • Monika Schneider, elected with 49 votes
Three other candidates also ran in the Cowley election but did not win a council seat: Kyle Sowiak received 36 votes, Mary Kittlaus received 34 votes, and Stuart Townsend received 25 votes.

Cowley's council decides who is to be Mayor, which will happen at an organizational meeting tomorrow, October 23, 2013.
