Kaitlin Speight, grade 9, was chosen for her marker drawing called “The Kaitlin”. Amanda Frost, Grade 10 was recognized for her watercolor painting “Season’s Change”. Michallie Brown, grade 12 for her unique was sculpture “Challenge”.
Three students who graduated from MHHS last year were also recognized for their art work created during their Grade 12 year. Claire Johnson for her pencil crayon drawing “Pixelated Crosby”, Annika Lewis for her mixed media work called “Not all who wander are lost” as well as her clay sculpture “Cactus”, and Lisa Manners for her 3D work called “One Strand Will Easily Break, But Tied Together We Are Strong”, and “Looking Out On Me”.
These 6 individuals exhibited creativity, thoughtfulness, hard work and talented. We look forward to more outstanding art pieces in the future.
