Mrs. P's Coffee Corner gave Earl Johnson of the Cowley Lions a check for $1,137.95 on Friday, July  5.  "I'm so excited and overwhelmed at the generosity, and the love that has been shown," said Loretta Packham, owner of Mrs. P's .   There has been a collection box at the restaurant since June 19, the day after the flooding in High River.  Packham will forward to the Lions of Alberta Foundation any funds that continue to come in .

As a representative of the Lions of Alberta Foundation, Johnson was appreciative of the funds.  "I would like to give a big thank you to Mrs. P, her staff, clients, and everyone that has helped support this," said Johnson.  As a local member, he will pass the cheque on to the Lions of Alberta Foundation who will ensure 100% of the funds will be used to help High River flood victims.
