A good run for Tomas

It was a good day for baseball.  The sun was warm, the breeze was cool, and the kids' attitudes were on the ball.  This was the second game for the team, the first  was on Wednesday,  May 8, at Claresholm where the Dust Devils lost 16 - 12.

They were ready to play ball, and eager for a win this time.

Both teams seemed a bit inconsistent, a problem that will probably be ironed out with practice.  Even during the course of this one game, pitching was improving on the mound.   For example, the swings at what should have been  a 'ball' lessened, and kids getting up to bat were making the connections better.

The Dust Devils have been working on the fundamentals of the game and taking the lessons to heart and polishing their game.

The Dust Devils won 21 - 8 making  it one win, one loss to start their season.

The Pincher Creek Minor Dust Devils will be playing next at Juan Teran Park in Pincher Creek today, Monday, May 13, 2013.
