RCMP Fort Macleod investigate generator theft
On February 11, 2013 the Fort Macleod RCMP received a complaint that an Omega generator had been stolen from a drilling platform located near the intersection of Highway #3 and Range Road 241. The generator had to be cut away from large cables and is estimated to be worth approximately $12,000.
The RCMP are investigating this incident as a theft and are seeking public assistance in identifying any suspects. Anyone that may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to provide are asked to contact the Fort Macleod RCMP at 403-553-7200 or call Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222-8477 (TIPS).
