Last weekend was a busy one for local hockey.  We will be publishing several stories about the games and events, but we (and YouTube) are still playing catch up.  In the interim, here's a synopsis of the local games and events.

Friday, February 8

Bantam Chinooks defeated 4-2 by Okotoks in a Provincial game heartbreaker.  Full story soon.

Saturday, February 9

Initiation Timbits defeated by Cardston 10-7.  Our Initiation Timbits have actually been having a very successful time of it as the season winds down.  Full story soon.

Atom 2 Chinooks play Taber Oil Kings to a 4-4 tie.  An exciting game.  Full story soon.

Atom 1 Chinooks play Crowsnest Thunder to a 1-1 tie.  One of the most exciting games of the weekend.  Full story soon.

Midget Huskies vs Cardston

Midget Huskies blank Cardston.   By a lot.  That's pretty much the whole story.  Last two periods were runtime with no intermission.  Gotta give Cardston credit, they played it to the end, and a mostly clean game too.  Last game of the regular season for the Huskies.  Now they can concentrate on Provincials.

Hockey Day in Canada was awesome! Full story soon. Kudos to the RHL Senior Huskies for putting on such a terrific event.

Senior Huskies lose 5-3 to Fort Macleod for their last regular season game.  Next up: Best of 7 Playoff series against Nanton.  Full story soon.

Sunday, February 10

Novice Chinooks play Picture Butte to a 7-7 tie.  Reporter Josh Davis tells me it was a very exciting game.  Full story soon.
