On February 11, 2013 the Fort Macleod RCMP received a complaint that approximately 1000 feet of copper wire had been stolen from a work yard located near the intersection of Highway #3 and Range Road 241 near Monarch, Alberta.
The cables were cut away from large pieces of machinery and will have clean cuts on the end.
The RCMP are investigating this incident as a theft and are seeking public assistance in identifying any suspects.
