Two citizens have stepped forward to run for the recently vacated position of councillor on Pincher Creek's Town Council: Duane Filipuzzi and Marie Meckelborg. The council seat was vacated by Tammy Rubbelke, who resigned as of October 26, 2015. The by-election is scheduled for January 11, 2016 and advance polling is scheduled to take place on January 6, 2016.
