MacPherson is the Whitehorse man charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of Tanner Sinclair last summer. Sinclair was born and raised in Pincher Creek. He died after a stabbing incident in Whitehorse early morning July 15, 2014. MacPherson was the subject of a manhunt after fleeing the Yukon, eventually turning himself in to Vancouver Island West Shore RCMP on July 25, 2014.
According to the CBC story, MacPherson's bail conditions call for a $25,000 cash bond, and he is scheduled to be placed in a drug treatment program by Sunday May 17.
A trial date has not been set.
