An election was held for two seats on the MD of Pincher Creek No. 9 Council.
Grant McNab has won the Division 1 seat for the MD of Pincher Creek No. 9 council. McNab received 101 votes and incumbent Helen Cyr received 59 votes.
Brian Hammond has won the Division 4 seat for the MD of Pincher Creek No. 9 council. Hammond received 141 votes and incumbent Bjorne Berg received 76 votes. One ballot was spoiled in each division.
As a result of the election process, this will be the Council for the MD of Pincher Creek No. 9 for the next four years (*=acclaimed):
Division 1 – Election - Grant McNab
Division 2 – Fred Schoening*
Division 3 – Garry Marchuk*
Division 4 – Election - Brian Hammond
Division 5 – Terry Yagos*
