Students of Livingstone School in Lundbreck raised just over $3000 for cancer research and also held their Terry Fox Run today.

'We are gathered here today, because you are taking part in a magnificent event.  It is called 'The Terry Fox Run'," said Assistant Principal Mrs. Krizan at the assembly preceding the run.  "We are participating in the Terry Fox Run because Terry Fox deserves it."

"All week long, your donations have been coming in, those donations will go the the Canadian Cancer Society in Terry Fox's name.

I can't tell you how proud I am of every single one of you for your participation in this event today," Krizan continued.

"Let's take a walk.  Let's take a big walk."
