Office Administration
Tough Country Communications is a local internet service provider offering connectivity to rural customers from Milk River Alberta to Cranbrook BC. Additionally we offer many other technology solutions to our business and residential customers, computer servicing and repair, as well as computer and related equipment sale. We currently have an opening in accounts receivable and reception.
The right candidate for this role will cover duties focused on but not limited to:
- Capturing phone calls promptly
- Billing our subscribership and answering bill related questions
- Entering field notes, posting charges and updates to customer accounts as required
- Entering payments to the billing system
- Working with our customers on their base level trouble shooting needs.
- As well general office duties and other tasks as required.
This persons’ role will commence work at 8:00 am week days. Their hours will be not less than 30 hours per week.
Pay rate will be commensurate upon experience and abilities. At Tough Country there will be ample opportunity for learning, growth, and advancement.
The right candidate for us:
- Is organized and has acute attention to detail
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Possess a good working knowledge of office software and computer operations
- Has a good working knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Possess the ability to work independently
- Is able to communicate with our subscribership in a courteous and informative way
- Able to work under pressure and with deadlines
- Is interested in helping us grow our brand and supplying technology solutions equivalent to those available in larger metropolitan areas
